Best of Web 2.0 in Education

Larry Ferlazzo chose fo.reca.st as one of the best education web applications of 2008. On the fo.reca.st website you can design online surveys, collect responses from the visitors of your blog or website, analyze them and finally present the survey results. In education the uses of this are through the roof. It has uses for teachers, administrators, parents, and students.

Teachers can use fo.reca.st to assess students learning, poll students interests, make classroom decisions, and recieve feedback from students and parents. Adminstrators use surveys all the time to find out information from the staff in all sorts of different areas. This would be another tool for the to gather information from the staff. Feedback and self-reflection are a daily part of education. fo.reca.st is a great tool to vary the way this is done in schools.
